The award was given during the company’s annual management meeting at its headquarters in Cleveland, Tennessee. It recognizes the facility as the premier location in the division, which includes 28 skilled nursing and rehabilitation facilities in Idaho, Oregon, Utah and Washington.
Criteria for this award include excellent customer service, a strong rehab department and involvement in the community.
Life Care Center of Idaho Falls, led by Executive Director Briar Heisler, was commended for its strong clinical outcomes and caring, involved team. The center has had a five-star rating from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services for the past seven years. It also has a low rate of patient returns to the hospital.
Associates at the center have demonstrated their caring hearts by such acts as donating paid time off to another associate in need, taking a resident to a concert, taking a resident to sporting events and bringing in pizza for a resident and family members who arrived at the building late in the evening.
"We congratulate Briar and her team of associates who, together, have developed such a strong facility,” said Beecher Hunter, Life Care president. “The patients at Life Care Center of Idaho Falls are the real winners as they benefit from the works of love performed by the team every day.”
